Steps to Virtual Lunch for Literacy on February 5th at 12:00 PM MST
We want to make sure each and every person who attends this year's Virtual Lunch For Literacy has a great time. We also want to ensure everyone who wishes to attend can do so with confidence and ease. We understand this technology is new to many of us and it might feel a bit overwhelming. Our hope is to provide these step by step instructions so that joining us on February 5th will be a breeze.
STEP 1:
Take a look around this site. You can browse auction items or learn more about Learning Lab by clicking the tabs at the top of this page.
STEP 2:
While you’re here, remember to REGISTER! Lunch for Literacy is a FREE event this year but by registering early, you’ll stay up to the minute on event news and updates. You can also browse the silent auction – Bidding will begin on January 29th.
You DO NOT need to enter your credit card to register. If you plan to donate or bid on auction items during the event, you are able to enter your credit card information when you register so you'll be ready to go at event time. You will still be able to authorize use of your card on file during the event. Please contact Jennifer Panitch if you have questions jenniferp@learninglabinc.org or 917-586-7957.
STEP 3:
Of course, our silent auction will still include the much loved and creative book-themed baskets. This year the auction will also include Virtual Visits with a number of well-known authors! If you’ve ever dreamt of inviting an author to your book club to discuss their novel, now is your chance!
STEP 4:
Please remember to send this site link to your family and friends. The event is free to join and we are excited about the opportunity to introduce ourselves and our inspiring students to more friends like you!
STEP 5:
Join us here on February 5th from 12:00 PM to 1 PM MST.
Though we will not be in the same room this year, we are certain we will feel the strength of our community as we gather online. We hope that by following the instructions above, you will be able to join the event easily, have a better understanding of what to expect during the event, and to participate and enjoy the celebration of Learning Lab's 30th Anniversary of providing adult and family educational programs in the Treasure Valley!
